What 2020 Taught Us

Almost all of us would agree that 2020 was a challenging year, and it’s good to have it in the rearview mirror, but let’s not forget the lessons that 2020 taught us.  For Wayne’s Roofing it was a time to look at new approaches. We stayed in close contact with our roofing and construction industry allies and remained flexible as we met almost daily challenges.

When COVID emerged in early March, we pivoted immediately from our planned activities to get ahead of what soon became a national crisis. Our website was revised to detail our response to the pandemic and provided vital resources for employees. We immediately joined the conversation with the roofing industry associations on the best ways to coordinate our response to the pandemic, and implemented all protocol as an essential business.

Our Wayne’s Roofing team is made up of over 150 committed team members, and with everyone’s commitment to that team, we continued to grow and flourish in 2020 – despite the hardships that came with it.

It was a year we will never forget. Wearing a mask every day, working from home, managing our families shelter-in-place challenges, maintaining cleanliness protocol, social distancing… every day was a new experience – and everyone did their part!

Despite all these challenges we continued to grow, overcame every obstacle with professionalism and unwavering commitment, and still ended up having another successful year

Looking forward, as we emerge from the impact of the pandemic, construction will continue to play an important part in the growth and improvement of our community - and Wayne’s Roofing, Inc., will be there every step of the way.
