Wayne’s Roofing Receives Recognition for the Lowest EMR
In late September the Association for General Contractor’s (AGC) of Washington announced recognition awards for Excellence in Safety and Loss control reflected in their experience modification rate (EMR). Many members have also earned a “claims free” premium discount from Labor and Industries (up to 40%) for tracking at least three continuous years without a timeloss or impairment injury case.
Wayne’s Roofing, Inc. received the Lowest Southern District EMR in the Group with an EMR of .52. Wayne’s was also recognized for maintaining a 19-year average EMR of .65.
An EMR or experience modification rating, helps determine the price of worker compensation insurance premiums. For construction, insurance companies use this score to understand past cost of injuries to determine risk levels and premiums. An average EMR is 1.0.
With an EMR rating of .52, Wayne’s Roofing is considered one of the safest contractors in Washington.
