December 3rd is National Roof Over Your Head Day
National Roof Over Your Head Day was created as a day to be thankful for what you have, starting with the roof over your head. There are many things we take for granted and forget how fortunate we are for having them.
Across the nation, there are many who are lacking in even the simplest of things. Such as a roof over their heads, enough food to eat, or clothes to wear.
From bungalows to cottages, and farmhouses to treehouses, today we show our appreciation and gratitude for the places we call home. Here at Wayne’s Roofing we give thanks for the opportunity to put a roof over thousands of people. From schools to hospitals, convention centers, sports arenas, historical landmarks, and so much more. Roofing is what we do!
This day reminds us to appreciate what we have, and follows closely after Thanksgiving, a day to be thankful.
To celebrate, pick a name from a Christmas Giving Tree and make someone’s holiday a little better, or volunteer at, or make a contribution to, a homeless shelter in your area. Your gift may help someone else be able to have a “roof over their head” tonight.
And to everyone here at Wayne’s Roofing, Inc., thank you! For all that you do for our community.
